Canadian Macrobiotics now offers private and group Hatha yoga and meditation classes and workshops to help you on your journey!
Yoga originated in India and is the pursuit of the union of man, “atman”, with the supreme consciousness, “Param atman”. Here in the West, yoga is generally thought to be more of a physical exercise than spiritual journey. What we call yoga in the West is only the physical form of yoga in the East. All other types of physical yoga we have here in the West – from Bikram to Vinyasa to Power yoga – are derived from the original Hatha yoga.
Physical Benefits of Yoga Practice:
While Hatha yoga may have been intended to be a spiritual pursuit, anyone can benefit from the practice of Hatha yoga, which helps to:

Canadian Macrobiotics is proud to offer a variety of private and semi-private sessions to interested students.
Private sessions can be tailored to meet the health and/or physical requirements, or specific goals, of the individual practitioner and allow for far greater exploration of each posture and technique.
Private sessions can be held at the Canadian Macrobiotics centre (located in Port Credit, Mississauga), at your home, or at an outdoor location of your choice (weather permitting).
