“In non-action, good deeds we practice;
With ignorance, phenomena will flow.
Every being is born, abides and ceases;
As thought arises, concepts will grow.
If free from attachment you can achieve,
The robes of monks you need never receive.”
~ Wang An Shi
‘Non-action’ is a lovely poem whose message I appreciate for likening the spiritual pursuit of cosmic wisdom by dedicated monks to that of the same in the spontaneous enjoyment of life of the common person.
It’s been quiet around here the past week and a half as I took some time away to focus on other projects and responsibilities, but today I return recharged, refreshed, and renewed to continue with the quote of the day posts as usual.
There will be some interesting new changes to look forward to on Canadian Macrobiotics this year… more on that coming soon!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoy a great start to the week! xo
