“Because suffering is impermanent, that is why we can transform it.
Because happiness is impermanent, that is why we have to nourish it.”
~ Thich Nhat Hanh, 10th June 2014
Plum Village released another update about Thay’s condition on November 30th.
It seems he is in a stable condition – it is no surprise to find that he is capable of transforming his state of suffering at this time into something peaceful. Even at the time, Thay embodies the concept of living in and enjoying the moments that are presented to us with peace, grace, and love.
Today, Sister Chan Khong represented Thay to sign the declaration to end slavery along with other global faith leaders at the Summit in Rome today.
You can add your name to the declaration here, and join those who work with love and light in speaking out against modern forms of slaver!
Have a very lovely Tuesday, friends, xo
