“You should never let your fears prevent you from doing what you know is right.”
~ Aung San Suu Kyi

We live in a world of much good and bad; of miracles and of tragedies; of peace and of war.
As much as those who use their words and actions for negative things – typically rooted in ignorance and selfishness (or ego) – are responsible for the negative things that happen in this world, so too are those who choose good words and actions but do not act out of fear or insecurity.
If more of those who use their words and actions for positive things in this world were centered and confident enough in themselves to say or do what they know is right regardless of how others react, much less of the negative work done by others would have an opportunity to flourish like it often does.
When we allow others to intimidate us into not speaking or doing what we know we ought to speak or do, we give them power over us, and we block our natural light and energies from shining forth from within like they were meant to.
You should never let anyone compromise how you feel and what you know is right; even those with the very best intentions can hold us back from what we truly have to offer the world.
