“My wish, indeed my continuing passion, would be not to point the finger in judgment but to part a curtain, that invisible shadow that falls between people, the veil of indifference to each other’s presence, each other’s wonder, each other’s human plight.”
~ Eudora Welty

The first step to working past the natural human tendency to judge others is to learn to refrain from judging one self; for how can we learn to love and accept those around us unconditionally if we have not first learned to love and accept our selves unconditionally?
We must be willing to be equally tender, compassionate, and understanding with all things instead of focusing on definitive boundaries that give a false sense of self and perspective.
