Remember that, as with all new habits, a gentle and slow approach to cultivating more awareness is usually the most successful approach.
Even the smallest steps get you moving in the right direction; and by taking small steps, you don’t run the risk of getting tired and needing to stop for a rest by trying to go too far too fast.
So when you find yourself remembering that you want to bring more awareness into your life, use that moment to deepen your awareness.
With time, you’ll find yourself tuning in and raising your awareness more and more often, and eventually a constant state of meditative awareness will be natural.
